Equestrian Trail Patrol

ARP Equestrian Trail Patrol rides the 23 miles of the American River Parkway, as well as Gibson Ranch / Dry Creek Parkway trails, acting as eyes and ears for the County of Sacramento, Department of Regional Parks.

The Horse Patrol is a non-Profit organization, founded in 1995 primarily to promote safety in the use of park property and facilities, to create good will, and to assist the general public and County Park employees.

Qualified Patrollers attend meetings, and support American River Parkway events and activities.
