ARP Equestrian Trail Patrol rides the 23 miles of the American River Parkway, and also Gibson Ranch County Park trails, acting as eyes and ears for the County of Sacramento, Department of Regional Parks.

The Patrol is a non-Profit organization, founded in 1995 primarily to promote safety in the use of park property and facilities, to create good will, and to assist the general public and County Park employees.

Qualified patrollers attend meetings, and support Parkway events and activities.
